The Sultan course opened in September 2003 and has already established itself as one of the best golf courses in southern Europe. Most golfer's favourite in Belek now!
Designed by renowned architect Davey Jones who was also responsible for the brilliant course called National Golf Club - which lies just 400 metres away from Sultan.
This is a masterpiece and at over 7,000 yards off the back tees the course has water on at least twelve of the eighteen holes and long carries are required sometimes on second shots, sometimes on tee shots to stay out of trouble. Other special features include elevated tees and some superb driving holes through avenues of mixed deciduous and mainly eucalyptus trees. There is no doubt that the Sultan will host some major Events in the coming years and already shows a great deal of maturity. The Sultan is much more of a challenge than the Pasha course mainly because it is tighter, has more water and is 10% longer overall!
Special resident green fee rates for residents of the Sirene Palace and the Kempinski Hotels both of which are on site and there are great golf passes! available - Silver, Gold, Platinum etc!
The Sultan was in February 07 awarded PGA status and is now officially known as the PGA Sultan, a mark of its high quality and joining a select small number of PGA named courses in Europe, like Catalunya, the Belfry and Palmerstown House in Ireland.
